Recap

Hi Dolls,
I hope you all have recouped from Thanksgiving. I have so much making-up to do. Life has been so busy, but in a good way! My birthday just passed and planning a Great Gatsby Soiree was no walk in the park, but the outcome was fabulous. Costume/theme parties are soooo much fun!  I was so blessed to have shared an amazing time with people that I adore.  From my party to spending my 33rd birthday at the exclusive Club 33 in Disneyland... talk about fancy! I wanted to also share my favorite gift! My son gave me a Barnes & Noble gift card and I picked up a couple of books I had been eyeing. I picked up, "May Cause Miracles" I thought the title was clever, when I opened the book, the first thing that stood out was, "Because living a life full of Gratitude, Forgiveness and Love, May Cause Miracles".  Let me just say, it's a great book and I am already hooked.  I promise to be more consistent in my posts moving forward :) I have a few reviews I am dying to share with you and although I LOVE shopping, I am not a fan of Black Friday shopping, but nonetheless, I scored on some Cyber Monday deals that I will be sharing as soon as they arrive :)

Birthday Fun!

Crazy Over Tulle

Hello Dolls!! Sorry I have been M.I.A, but I am back! I have been so busy with work and planning my birthday Soiree!  Ok so first off, am I the only one going crazy over tulle skirts here? It's perfect timing too! This past weekend I attended my first Holiday event of the year and I absolutely loved how girly and flirty I felt in my tulle skirt! I have another one in the mail and on it's way home to me. I can't wait to put a look-book together, but in the meantime, here are some ways on how to wear your tulle skirt... Casual, Chic or Classy.

What's your favorite way to wear tulle?

Talking Smack

Hi love bugs, I wanted to share with you my latest obsession (aside from Green Tea). I have been in search for some lip moisture love and these are the ones that made my list and all under $5 bucks! There is nothing more I dread than a pretty lip color on chapped, cracked or dry lips. I have been using EOS (Evolution of Smooth) sphere balms all year round and they are my absolute favorite! Nice looking, great scents and flavors, BUT as we come into winter, I prefer a balm with a tiny bit more moisture. I was standing in the checkout line at Target and saw this tiny and cute Vaseline lip therapy and it read "for smooth, soft lips", I instantly had to have it. I must say, best purchase ever! I have been completely obsessed and impressed. I apply this every morning and night before bed and I wake up with soft and smooth lips, just like the package promised.  Throughout the day I still use my EOS balms and if I want a touch of color, I apply Wet n Wild SPF 15 Juicy balm.  Next time you are in line at Target, Walmart, etc. do not hesitate to pick up any of these, you wont regret it!

EOS: (Evolution of Softness): Sweet Mint is my favorite, but they come in tons of flavors. Price: $3-$4
Vaseline Lip Therapy: Original formula and shea butter formula (love original formula) Price:$2-$3
Wet n Wild Juicy spf 15: Comes in 4 flavors, Cherry, Raspberry, Strawberry and Watermelon Price: $2-$3

Lips should always be pretty... you never know who might be falling in love with your smile ;)

What's on your lips??

xoxo,
Sonia

someday I will

Hello!! I'm so excited for my very first post. Happy Halloween by the way! Can I just start by saying the there is no better day to start blogging than today! Cheers to new beginnings :) I was having the worst day of my life (or so it felt like) and I was blog surfing to get my mind off of things and to get inspiration for my own blog! I came across Denim & Daydreams blog post on "someday I will" and I am sure it was no coincidence (you will soon hear me ramble about coincidences and Wayne Dyer - huge fan), but anyhow, I was immediately inspired to write and shift my energy into my first blog. I love to write so this blog will be somewhat therapeutic for me. I will share fashion tips, reviews and what I am currently obsessing on, I will be honest, witty and sometimes dramatic! Before you even know it we have become best friends. I know it's mostly my friends and family reading my first posts because I will make them and probably spam their email, but THANK YOU for the your support *wink*

someday  I will...  (I'm switching it up a bit with "I will" rather than "someday")

I will be an expert blogger and know all the terminology and an expert on all the features, gadgets and widgets. Until then, bare with me.

I will meet my prince charming and live happily ever after.

I will do what I was put on this earth to do and make a living doing what I love, not 100% sure what exactly that is, but I am getting closer and I will be rewarded with abundance, but in the meantime, I really do love my job.

I will finally get to understanding football

I will visit Paris and dance under the Paris moon.

I will be better at following my intuition.

I will take my own advice.

I will have my own organic vegetable garden.

I will own a white Range Rover (don't judge me, I like nice things)

I will stop snoozing every morning for the first 30 minutes.

I will attend more yoga and meditation classes.

I will lead a positive life by example.

I will make an impact and leave an imprint in this lifetime.

I will try to come to terms that my baby boy is 15 years old and no longer mommy's baby

I will today and always be grateful for all my life lessons and blessing.

xoxo,
Sonia
